Definition and Usage

The disabled property sets or returns whether a month field should be disabled, or not.

A disabled element is unusable and un-clickable. Disabled elements are usually rendered in gray by default in browsers.

This property reflects the HTML disabled attribute.

Internet Explorer Firefox Opera Google Chrome Safari

The disabled property is supported in all major browsers.

Note: The <input type="month"> element is not supported in Internet Explorer or Firefox.


Syntax

Return the disabled property:

monthObject.disabled

Set the disabled property:

monthObject.disabled=true|false

Property Values

Value Description
true|false Specifies whether a month field should be disabled, or not
  • true - The month field is disabled
  • false - Default. The month field is not disabled

Technical Details

Return Value: A Boolean, returns true if the month field is disabled, otherwise it returns false
